Ashby Wells House is set in the heart of the National Forest and is one mile away from the historical town of Ashby-de-la-Zouch. The start to woodland trust cycle trail, family trails and picnic sites are 200 m away.

Ashby-de-la-Zouch and the surrounding areas has a largely flat terrain.

Ashby Wells House sleeps up to 5 people. It has one bathroom with a bath and shower. The three bedrooms and bathroom are all on the first floor of the two storey house.

  • The nearest bus stop is approximately 150 metres away. Bus no. 12 runs every 20 minutes from Ashby to the bus stop but does not run late into the evenings.
  • Ashby Wells House is in a quite cul-de-sac. There is a wide flat tarmac road outside of the property leading to the house.

Key Collection, Welcome and Car Parking

  • The key is stored in a key safe within the porch of the property. In confirming your reservation with you we will inform you of the code.
  • If requested we can arrange for someone to meet you at the house.
  • Parking is available for three cars. Two cars can be parked on the drive of the property, another one can be parked outside on the road. The road is a cul-de-sac and is very quiet.
  • The area is well lit at night and the property also has an outside light.
  • Access to the house is reached by a wide tarmac drive.

  • Access to the property is through the front door via an open porch.
  • The step to the porch is 20cm.
  • The step into the property is 20cm.
  • The front door opens inwards to 77cm.
  • The entrance is well lit.
  • The hallway is oak parquet block.

  • The whole property is well lit and naturally light and spacious.

  • The kitchen-diner is situated on the ground floor with level access entry from the hallway (and dining room).

  • The height of the cooker including the hob is 95cm.
  • The oven is drop down.
